Construction is in progress for a Veterans Housing Development primarily for homeless veterans and their families on the site of a closed Army Reserve base in North Amityville.
“This is yet another example of the extraordinary potential of government and the not-for-profit sector working together,” said Ralph Fasano, Concern for Independent Living’s executive director. “The project goes far beyond housing for homeless vets and their families. It is part of a more comprehensive plan to help our veterans, to whom this nation owes so much, become self-sufficient, productive members of society.”
GLS is proud to be a part of servicing the veterans community with Mega Construction Company and is providing electrical construction and security installation services.
