Internet of Things

Every day, the world is becoming more connected. Everything from the phones we carry in our pockets, to the cars we drive, to the buildings in which we work and live, are linked to massive networks of data.

The Internet of Things is a network of uniquely identifiable endpoints (or “things”) that contain embedded technology to sense, collect, communicate and, exchange data locally or with external environments, without human interaction, affecting our daily life.

The IoT can assist in integration of communications, control, and information processing across various transportation systems. GLS plays an important role with design and installation of the Physical Infrastructure and Structing Cabling to ensure efficient working of all applications.
