STEP (Sheltering and Temporary Essential Power) is a FEMA program to make your home safe for your return. The County working with contractors to assess damage to your home from Super Storm Hurricane Sandy and make the necessary emergency repairs so that you and your family can have safe power and heat in your home. This program was designed to provide temporary electricity, heat and hot water to meet basic life sustaining needs while permanent repairs are made.
GLS was qualified and was selected to participate in this worthwhile endeavor of helping the many victims of Superstorm Hurricane Sandy. Our team worked nonstop to help families get back into their homes to start to get their lives back together.
